A little about Thrifty Impressions...

Thrifty started business in 1976 as a custom graphic arts company just south of Los Angeles California in Orange County. After 21 years in the same city, we relocated our headquarters to Blackfoot Idaho, part of a tri-city technology area comprising Pocatello, Blackfoot and Idaho Falls. Blackfoot is a beautiful city in the south eastern part of the state, about 175 miles north of Salt Lake City, Utah. The area offers outstanding weather and recreational opportunities. It also has a great business climate, rated #7 in the US for manufacturing ability. It is the home of Idaho State University. The dome structure shown in the photo below is the University's indoor football stadium. It was the first one in the country and was designed by the Engineering department of the University.

For the benefit of our non US visitors, Blackfoot is in the state of Idaho located in the northwestern part of the United States. We are in the mountain time zone, which is Greenwich minus 7 hours. Our normal office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Telephones are transferred to our homes should after hour calls be necessary.  Internet messages are reviewed and responded to 6 days a week.  We ship systems to almost any country using either a freight forwarder, the postal system or an agent of your choice.

Thrifty has kept pace with the exploding computer opportunities, expanding into a wide range of related custom products. We spend a great deal of time evaluating new equipment and processes in order to select practical and cost effective components to add to our systems. As we use our products every day, we feel uniquely qualified and knowledgeable in the field of customized items.

We specialize in the development of budget priced home or full time businesses. We operate a retail business in addition to the sale of systems designed to increase  personal income. All our systems are tax deductible, as a business expense, up to $18,000, in the first year.

Our Terms and Conditions:

Domestic Shipping:
Normal shipping is via UPS, US Mail or common carrier truck in the 48 contiguous states and via US Mail, UPS, FedEx or a freight forwarder to Alaska and Hawaii unless the buyer instructs otherwise. Shipping costs are not included in each system price. Systems are generally shipped within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of orders. We are not responsible for acts of God, strikes or other unforeseen occurrences that may delay estimated delivery dates. As with all other sales organizations, we have no control over the actions or policies of 3rd party shipping organizations nor, in the case of export, receiving country customs and government regulations.

International Shipping:
The customer may select the carrier used as well as the method of delivery. Normally, shipments are made via an air freight consolidator and sent door to port. Arrangements can be made for door to door or port to door, including customs clearing. Unless other arrangements are made, the international  portion of shipping charges are collect. On occasion, shipments are sent via US Postal, FedEx or UPS, depending on actual weight and number of containers in order to obtain the lowest cost.

Payment:
We require either wire transfer, cashier's check or money order in full prior to shipment. Wire transfers or International Drafts in US dollars are required for shipments to non US locations, for which there is a $20.00 receiving bank surcharge. Originating non US banks should be asked to use their US correspondent bank and appropriate US accounts. Wire transfers usually take 2 to 3 days to be received.  Personal checks are welcome, but require a clearing time of 14 business days prior to system shipment.

We do accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards, subject to the Terms and Conditions herein, for USA sales only. Credit card online ordering is available through paypal .   In the meantime, please call our office (208) 782-0349 with your order.

Voltage:
Unless advised differently, all systems requiring electric power are configured for 110 Volts, 60 Hertz. Most systems can be ordered configured for 220/240 volts, either at no additional charge or for a small conversion fee.  Printers are only available in 110 volt configurations, though we do have an optional heavy duty 220 volt transformer available to enable 220 volt usage.

Returns:
Due to the transfer of technology accompanying each system, all systems are sold on a non returnable basis.

Damage or lost systems:
Any damaged or lost systems or equipment will be adjusted using generally accepted industry standards utilizing the respective carrier's insurance policy and procedures. Normal damage or loss proof is required.

Title:
Title of all equipment and systems transfers to the buyer upon receipt of funds.

Privacy:
We do not share information on customers or potential customers with any outside source.

Modification:
We reserve the right to substitute equal or better components to any system to either improve the performance or due to supplier delivery problems beyond our control. Also, we may upgrade systems producing a better value at the same cost.
